OpenText Connector
Virgo connects with OpenText Content Server, an enterprise content management tool (ECM). The OpenText Connector is a custom implementation that helps ensure that Virgo retention policies are consistently and automatically applied to OpenText files. The OpenText Connector automatically synchronizes Virgo retention information with OpenText Content Server to create and update classifications.
NOTE: The OpenText Connector synchronizes a Virgo record series' Code, Name, Description, and Retention to create and update OpenText classifications. For example, a record series' Code populates the Record Series Identifier (RSI) in an OpenText Content Server classification.
The OpenText Connector also supports better retention approvals. You can use Virgo information owners as approvers within OpenText Content Server. And approvals can be at the classification level.
